General Watering Tips:
Follow the required watering schedule, based on the last digit of your street address.

  • Water early or late, before 8 a.m. or after 6 p.m. to minimize evaporation.
  • Water only when needed. Skip days if rain is in the forecast or if soil is still moist.
  • Adjust irrigation zones for the actual needs of your plants.
  • Avoid Runoff. Water running into the street or gutter is wasteful.
  • Sticking to the schedule can help plants and lawns have the best chance of absorbing the water and save you from paying for water that will literally disappear into the air.
