The government of the Town of Gypsum is headed by the Town Council which consists of the Mayor and six council members. The Mayor and council members are elected representatives of the citizens' of the Town of Gypsum. Our Mission:"Proudly committed to serving and protecting our citizens' quality of life with strong leadership that supports opportunities for business, recreation and our children."


The Town Council is supported in achieving this mission by the Town Manager, Assistant Town Manager, Town Clerk, Administrative Staff, Finance Officer, Planning Department, Town Engineers, Building Department, Sales Tax Auditor, Public Works Department, Special Projects Coordinator, Planning & Zoning Commission, and the Gypsum Recreation Committee.  Currently, the Town of Gypsum employs approximately 38 full time employees who work hard to support positive growth in our community and keep things running smoothly for our citizens.  We are always eager to hear your comments and suggestions and we encourage our citizens' involvement in our local government.  Town Council meetings are always open to the public, as are the Planning and Zoning Commission meetings, please feel free to participate.
